This narrower 1.2 metre wide version can be useful for owners of smaller properties or with limited access.
Add handles and wheels for an extra $100.
Materials used:
Ply housing or timber palings (depending on availability)
H4 treated timber base (If it's not "H4" on the base it will eventually rot).
H3.2 treated plywood.
Galvanised square gauge netting.
Stainless steel hinges. Galv nails and screws
One nestbox and one perch.
Metal strip along roof apex.
Butynol rubber strip to keep nesting box dry.
There is one door at the front to allow chooks in and out and a lidded single nesting box at the back of the coop for egg collection.
This house will accomodate 2/3 chooks comfortably.
The coop is easy to move and to transport - it will fit onto a 6x4 trailer.
These coops are also ideal for rabbits, guinea pigs etc
